Cancellation Policy
📝 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy for Helen O'Connor Therapist 1. Policy Statement To respect the time of all clients and maintain the availability of appointment slots, Helen O'Connor Therapist maintains a strict 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. A fee will be charged for appointments cancelled or rescheduled without sufficient notice. 2. Definitions * Appointment Time: The scheduled start time of your therapy session. * Cancellation Notice Period: More than 24 hours prior to your Appointment Time. * Late Cancellation: Cancelling an appointment less than 24 hours before the Appointment Time. * Missed Appointment ("No-Show"): Failing to attend a scheduled appointment without any prior notice. 3. Fees & Charges Fees are based on the notice you provide: * More than 24 hours before appointment: No charge * Less than 24 hours before appointment or No-Show: 100% of the session fee 4. Implementation * The full session fee will be automatically charged to the credit/debit card on file for Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments. * Appointments can only be rescheduled without penalty if the request is made outside the 24-hour window. * If you are late for a session, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and the full session fee will apply. 5. Payment of Fees All cancellation fees must be paid in full before any future appointments can be scheduled. 6. Emergencies & Exceptions We understand that unforeseen emergencies and illness can occur. In cases of genuine, documented emergency (e.g., sudden serious illness, accident), the cancellation fee may be waived at the therapist's discretion. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation. 7. Therapist Cancellations In the rare event that Helen needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be notified at the earliest opportunity, and no fee will be charged to you.
